i have to set a gear measuring machine with a fixed master disk (it seems a croix) of 187.400mm base diameter.
i found mod.3.62595 and number of teeth 55 to get in a prog and it run well.
so the profile control it's ok for spur gear.

now, with the same base diameter, number of teeth and helix angle of 15 degree, what is the module that i have to get
in the pc?
nowadays i haven't found anything module to obtain a right control.

someone could help me?
thank you all in advance.

The base circle is function of number of teeth, modul, normal pressure angle and base helix angle. If you have the number of teeth and base helix angle fix, then you can change the modul or normal pressure angle to fit the base circle.

The pressure angle is commonly 20 degrees, for:
字串7

- Straight toothing with increased loading capacity requirement - 25 to 28 degrees
- Helical toothing - up to 25 degrees
- Gearing with a special requirement for quietness - 15 to 17.5 degrees
